Giorgi Chitadze

Giorgi Chitadze – Director of International Relations and Project Management Department. Before he headed Services and Regional Development Department at the Georgian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Previously he was a Head of Trade Negotiations and DCFTA (Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Area between Georgia and European Union) Coordination Division of Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia. He also headed Standards Department at the Georgian National Agency for Standards and Metrology.

Giorgi`s Participation in the free trade negotiations between the Georgia and the EU, the Georgia and the China, the Georgia and the EFTA countries and Georgia and Hong-Kong attributed him relatively good experience and understanding of the systems of different countries.

His active involvement in the processes of Regulatory Impact Analysis of the different laws and regulations was also a huge experience in his carrier.
Giorgi graduated two master programs, at the Georgian Institute of Public Affairs, at the Geneva Graduate Institute and master certificate program on project management by George Washington University program at the Tbilisi Free University.

Revaz Topuria

Revaz Topuria

Revaz Topuria is one of the founding members of CEP. He previously worked at the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia, holding the position of Chief Specialist of Trade Negotiations and DCFTA Coordination Division. Before joining the public service, Revaz was an Executive Director of Europe-Georgia Institute for almost two years. Currently, Revaz works as Managing Director of PMAG Packaging Cluster together with UNDP Georgia. He is also a lecturer at Free University of Tbilisi and the University of Georgia teaching Political Ideologies and Hybrid Warfare courses.

Working in non-governmental sector proved to be an excellent experience for Revaz. However, joining the government and participating in free trade negotiations gave him more systematic expertise.

Revaz has graduated with excellence from Free University of Tbilisi, obtaining bachelors diploma in International Relations with specialisation in Far Eastern Studies. He has also studied in China at Lanzhou University. Revaz received Master’s degree in Intelligence, Security and Strategic Studies from University of Glasgow, Dublin City University and Charles University. He is author of numerous academic publications and a book

Mikheil Pakatsoshvili

Mikheil Pakatsoshvili

Mikheil Pakatsoshvili – is Executive Director of CEP. He also is a Project Manager at the Biological Farming Association Elkana.

He has 10 years of experience in development projects and a good knowledge of project management and evaluation. He also worked as an invited lecturer at Ilia State University, where he taught law.

Mikheil also served in the Ministry of Justice in the Office of the Minister and as the Head of the Administrative Department at the Ministry of Environment Protection and Natural Resources. Mikheil holds Masters Degrees in Law from the Georgian Technical University and Riga Graduate School of Law and an Executive Master’s Degree from the Graduate Institute Geneva.

Irakli Tsikoridze

Irakli Tsikoridze

Irakli Tsikoridze – is one of the founding members of CEP. He is currently holding the position of Chief Specialist at the Georgian National water and electricity regulatory
commission. Previously Irakli worked at the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia, as a Chief Specialist of Trade Negotiations and DCFTA Coordination Division. He is specializing on Sanitary and Phytosanitary (SPS), Technical barrier to Trade, Trade related energy and Trade Remedies issues.

Irakli was actively involved in the free trade negotiations between Georgia and the China, the Georgia and the EFTA countries and Georgia and Hong-Kong. 
In addition, he participated in elaboration the Joint Feasibility Study on a possible Free Trade Agreement between Georgia-China and Georgia-India.
Irakli Also served as a member in Georgia-EU SPS and Trade and Sustainable Sub- committees.

Irakli Graduated master’s programme at International School of Economics, obtaining
masters diploma in Economics. He has also graduated Georgian Technical University. He has obtained a diploma with excellence record in Advance Trade Policy of World
Trade Organization’s Institute for Training and Technical Cooperation (Geneva, Switzerland).

Viktoras Zabolotnas

Viktoras Zabolotnas

Viktoras has worked as a civil servant in metrology and standards area for more than 13 years. Which has resulted in his unique experience and knowledge of the field as well as project management.

Later Viktoras moved into the private sector. Viktoras ran several EU funded projects, and took part in TA projects as KE and STE. Recently, he was an RTA in a Twinning project in Georgia. Upon finishing the Twinning project Viktoras joined our team, being one of CEP’s co-founders and international experts.

He holds Bachelors Degree in chemistry from and a Master’s degree in Environmental Science from Vilnius University.
